i. For wake turbulence categorization purposes, an aircraft certified for a maximum takeoff weight of more than 41,000 lb (18,600 kg) but less than 255,000 lb (116,000 kg).
ii. As used with certification by weight, aircraft weighing up to 12,500 lb (5700 kg) or less are classified as small, and those with a certificated weight of more than 12,500 lb are large.
